It’s that time of year again when we’re all reaching for our cosy knits and gravitating toward coffee shops in search of a bit of warmth. Thankfully, here in Edinburgh, we are blessed with countless great independent cafés to choose from. But, for those of you who aren’t a huge fan of coffee, or on occasion enjoy a good speciality tea, this week’s blog will cover great cafés where you can indulge in a lovely cup of tea in Edinburgh.

1. Strumpets

  • Where: 35 William Street
  • Tea supplied by: Tchai-Ovna (Glasgow-based)

Located in Edinburgh’s West End, Strumpets is a wonderfully quaint café, which serves up quality coffee, home-baked goods, and more importantly a delicious cup of loose leaf tea! Furthermore, if you can’t decide which tea to choose, their staff are always more than happy to let you smell the teas and answer your questions!
Local Tip: If you live in the area, Strumpets also host a book club which you can join.
