October is a beautiful time to get outside, our Day Trips From Edinburgh – Secret Beaches And World Famous Croissants will certainly motivate you, or perhaps stay closer to home with inspiration from Places to Stay in Edinburgh – East New Town. October 2019

As Edinburgh has now recovered from another spectacular August, the city has lots of exciting events going on this month. The Edinburgh Open Streets in October will be taking place on the 6th, a perfect opportunity to join the community activities and feel a little more connected to everyone around you. Featuring yoga classes, games, dancing and so much more. It warms our hearts to see everyone come together to share the space! You can read more about Edinburgh City Council’s project to connect and transform the city here.

Our highlight of October is the Scottish International Storytelling Festival, taking place from 18-31 October. Performers from around the world come to Edinburgh to celebrate one of oldest ways of sharing knowledge, through storytelling. The autumnal celebration takes place at the Scottish Storytelling Centre on the Royal Mile and includes an array of performances.
