Stylish and comfortable this one bedroom apartment on India Street is the perfect pied a terre. India Street is a brilliant location in Edinburgh's Georgian New Town as it's just a five minute walk to both George Street and Stockbridge so there's a huge choice of restaurants, bars, cafes, shops and things to do in the area.

Recently refurbished to a high standard with attractive furniture and pictures of Edinburgh, this basement level apartment feels like a little hotel suite. You enter down steps into a private patio area with a table and chairs so you can sit outside on a sunny day. The sitting room had a comfortable leather sofa and a TV with freeview channels. There's a dining table to seat 4 and a clever kitchen unit (please see photographs) which can be left closed or opened up. It contains an electric hob, a convection  microwave, a sink, a fridge freezer and a dishwasher.

The bedroom is a large peaceful and comfortable room with a large wardrobe off and the shower room is located off the living room.

Guest Comments

"The flat was comfortable and also quiet at night. A very pleasant stay for my 7 year old son and I. Thank you"! Ellen D.

"Central but very quiet. Ideal location! And Edinburgh was warm even at the end of February". - R Greenfield

Home Truths

Dickins Cancellation Policy

24 hour cool-off period: Providing you book more than fourteen days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours of making it and we will refund 100% of any charges.

Cancelling after the booking is confirmed: Once a confirmation of booking has been issued to you via email by Dickins, you are responsible for the total price detailed. If you need to cancel, Dickins will try to relet the period for you and if they are successful, you will be reimbursed with the value of the relet less a pound;75 + VAT charge. If they are not able to relet the period, you will be responsible for the full rental cost. It may be a good idea to make sure you have travel insurance which covers cancellation.

As there's a kitchen unit in the apartment with a convection microwave and not a standard oven, it's easy to make light meals but probably not a Sunday roast.

It is possible that very occasionally the owners may need access to a locked cupboard in the living room as it contains IT equipment for the office upstairs. Prior notice would be given to guests in the unusual situation that access was required.
