Homes don't come much more charming and homely than our Stockbridge Oasis.This home has been furnished and decorated with much care and a wonderful sense of style. Your comfort has been thought of everywhere from the beautifully crisp white sheets, to the mug you'll use for your morning coffee.
You walk down steps from this beautiful Georgian street into your private courtyard garden which is so pretty it wouldn't look out of place in the Chelsea Flower Show. It catches the sun and is the perfect place for sitting having breakfast or catching up with a good book.
Once inside the high standards continue. The living space is wonderful with lots of comfortable seating and chairs to sink into. The oak dining table seats 6 comfortably and the kitchen is very well equipped for dining at home and making the most of those brilliant Stockbridge food shops and the Sunday market. The bedroom is a quiet haven of peace where you'll be guaranteed a lovely sleep in those beautiful crisp sheets. There's a small dressing room off the bedroom. The bathroom is a lovely room and you'll find a shower over the bath.
The broadband speed here is good, 150Mbps.

The Neighbourhood
The flat is one minutes walk from the beautiful Water of Leith walkway and moments away from all the independent shops, cafes, bars and restaurants on Raeburn Place for which Stockbridge is much loved. Lannan Bakery is just 5 minutes walk away so you can try and beat the queues! The very popular Sunday market is just around the corner too and all the local shops are open on Sunday, making it a perfect day for wandering. It's easy to walk into the centre of Edinburgh from here and buses and taxis are available locally too.

Over the Festival a whole month booking is preferred in this home.
24 hour cool-off period: Providing you book more than fourteen days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours of making it and we will refund 100% of any charges.
Cancelling after the booking is confirmed: Once a confirmation of booking has been issued to you via email by Dickins, you are responsible for the total price detailed. If you need to cancel, Dickins will try to relet the period for you and if they are successful, you will be reimbursed with the value of the relet less a £75 + VAT charge. If they are not able to relet the period, you will be responsible for the full rental cost. It may be a good idea to make sure you have travel insurance which covers cancellation.

Stockbridge
Stockbridge is one of Edinburgh’s most popular and charming local areas. In the East it runs from St Stephen Street to Dean Park Mews in the West and from Stockbridge Colonies in the North to India Place in the South.
The area is one of Edinburgh’s greenest. The Water of Leith flows through Stockbridge, in fact the area is named after the bridge which crosses it and there are very pretty walks along it. It’s so quiet and rural, that it is hard to believe you are in the middle of the city. St Bernard’s Well is a little Greek style temple overlooking the water. The world class Royal Botanic Gardens and Inverleith Park are a few minutes walk away and are both wonderful for a wander. Inverleith Park has an excellent play park for children and The Botanics is a complete joy at any time of year. If you like running, this area is perfection. The first international rugby match between Scotland and England was played in the area on 27th March 1871. The Stockbridge Duck Race takes place here every year, for charity, when 1000 plastic ducks are released off the bridge to race down The Water of Leith.
