Wonderful Home from Home
Heriot Row, once home to Robert Louis Stevenson is a wonderful location for the Edinburgh Festival in August. Located less than five minutes walk to George Street and Princes Street where there are some fantastic Festival activities aplenty. Being close to the city centre means a superb range of shops, restaurants, cafes and bars lie directly on your doorstep. Around the corner from the apartment on Howe Street are some great local eateries including, Leo’s Beanery (a fabulous family run bakery), Ruan Siam (a taste of Thai), Iglu (specialising in Scottish cuisine) and for a little tipple why not try Mother’s Gin Bar. For those every day essentials there is a Sainsbury’s Local too.

This spacious apartment is set over two floors, ground and basement. As you enter the apartment on the ground floor there is a wonderful bright formal sitting room overlooking Heriot Street. The large master bedroom is nestled at the back of the apartment and overlooks the private garden. It has ample storage and a kingsize bed too. A single bedroom is also on this level too with a trundle bed, so can be setup as a twin on request. There is a bathroom with bath and shower to service these two bedrooms too.

On the second level downstairs are two further double bedrooms with one benefiting from a beautiful four poster bed. There is another bathroom with separate shower cubicle and freestanding bath too. At the back of the apartment is a small snug with a sofa and chairs to sit and watch a good film on the flat screen TV. The heart of this wonderful apartment has to be the very large kitchen with dining area. It is fully equipped for all your needs including a fabulous red Aga with three ovens. For those who are unfamiliar with Aga’s there is also a normal oven too with gas hob. The dining area has a very large table which can seat nine people comfortably and overlooks the pretty private garden.
