This one bedroom home is so beautiful and genuinely luxurious. Buckingham Terrace is a very impressive Victorian terrace just over Dean Bridge. You can walk over Dean Bridge to Princes Street in 15 minutes and also down to Stockbridge where you'll find a wonderful Sunday market as well as great local food shops, cafes, restaurants and boutiques.  Art lovers will not only love this apartment, but also love the fact that Edinburgh's two Modern Art Galleries are just around the corner. There are regular buses passing by here too.

This home has such a luxurious, elegant feel. It has the scale of a two bedroom home so it is very spacious with high ceilings, great views and a sense of style. It's a home from home for the owners who have wonderfully high standards and great taste. It's on the second floor which makes the views open and attractive.

To the front of the home you'll find the luxurious living room and dining kitchen with a large opening in between them giving a sense of open plan living, but creating two distinct spaces at the same time. This is a great home for entertaining. The living room has a lovely bow window, lots of comfy seating, beautiful art and a desk space in an alcove at the back of the room. The dining kitchen is new with a fabulous dining table seating six very comfortably. It's very well equipped for dining at home. There's a Nespresso machine and a large wine fridge.

This home has the luxury of two bathrooms with its one bedroom. The bedroom is a lovely space. It's again spacious with a very comfortable super king bed and luxury linens. You'll find lots of hanging space, a lovely chair by the large window and an ensuite shower room. The second guest bathroom has a shower over the bath.

This is a beautiful home where everything is great quality. Guests absolutely love staying here. We've written a blog about Buckingham Terrace, so if you'd like to read it please click here

'I am happy to say it is very great, wonderful and a beautiful flat. It is the best one I have ever rented in Edinburgh and of course I will rent it again when I am next in Edinburgh.' Ghaliah - the first guest who stayed in Buckingham Terrace

What an incredible space to be spending this strange time locked down in. The daily rituals of opening the bedroom shutters have taken on extra significance, letting the warmth of the morning sun stream in, revealing the classic Edinburgh view of Belgrave Place. It's quite something! Ben and David

West End & Dean

Your New Neighbourhood

Edinburgh’s West End and Dean is a popular, smart area. Running West from Queensferry Street to Magdala Crescent and North from Buckingham Terrace and Belgrave Crescent across the Dean Bridge to Shandwick Place in the South.

The Victorians created the West End and aimed to make it bigger and grander than the Georgian New Town. The streets are wide and the stone buildings enormous with huge high ceilings. The wide crescents often have private gardens in the middle and the area feels elegant and opulent. Princes Street can be easily reached on foot and Haymarket Station and the trams are close by too. William Street and Stafford Street are the West End’s most charming shopping streets and they are packed with exciting independent boutiques and some lovely restaurants and cafés. Around the corner magnificent Melville Street is home to various consulates and important companies. St Mary’s Cathedral rises above the West End and is perfect for lovers of angelic choral singing as they have a celebrated music school.
