Hillside Crescent is a wonderful four bedroom apartment set at the top of London Road on Hillside Crescent, which is at the end of the New Town. This apartment is in a fantastic location with all the amenities of the city centre. A wide variety of local specialist shops, such as the wonderful deli 'Valvona & Crolla' on Elm Row. There are also a wide selection of restaurants, bars and cafes close by too. Just around the corner is the Playhouse Theatre and Princes Street is just a few minutes walk away. There is a very good reliable bus service on London Road which will take you directly onto Princes Street as well as to the Old Town and Royal Mile.
Entry to Hillside Crescent is down a few steps leading down to a small patio area. As you enter the apartment there is a long hallway with original stripped floor boards. At the front of the apartment is the spacious and light master bedroom with double bed and large sash window. On the opposite side of the hallway is another double bedroom. Travelling down the hallway you will find the newly renovated internal kitchen which is fully equipped for all your needs. At the back of the apartment there is another double bedroom overlooking the private patio area. And finally this is a fourth bedroom with twin beds which is currently setup with bunk beds but these can be split into two singles on request. The cosy sitting room is a good size and has a flat screen TV, DVD player and WIFI broadband for your use. There are two bathrooms, one with shower only and another jack & jill bathroom with bath & shower which leads into the master bedroom.

East New Town & Hillside
The East New Town and Hillside area is where it’s at. Running from Scotland Street in the West to Broughton Road in the North, Lower London Road in the East and Regent Terrace in the South. Local resident, Peter Irvine, of Edinburgh’s Hogmanay fame christened the area The East Village.
The highpoint, literally, of the area is Calton Hill. A walk up here is rewarded to magnificent views across the whole of the city and photo opportunities abound on Calton Hill. The National Monument is much climbed and the Nelson Monument was built to look like Nelson’s upturned telescope. The City Observatory is now the home of the Collective Gallery and there’s a cute café there too. Calton Hill is an incredible place to watch the fireworks, The Beltane Festival held there on 30th April is very popular and an enormous torchlight procession on 30th December culminates on the Hill.Read More
