About The Home
Dublin Street is a quintessential Edinburgh double upper. It's a glamorous, huge house at the top of this beautiful Georgian building right in the heart of the New Town and there is a lot to love about it. You'll be amazed by the space when you open the front door of this second floor apartment. The ceilings are high, the rooms are huge and there's a wealth of fine architectural detail. It feels very impressive with a sense of history and yet, contemporary comfort.
On the lower floor, you'll fine the stunning sitting room. The fireplace and original Georgian archictural details in this room are very beautiful. There's a large window, lots of comfy seating and a large smart TV. The dining kitchen in this home is also fabulous. There's a large dining table, so you can all sit down to eat together. Again, it's huge room with high ceilings and a large window, so it's very light. There's a dishwasher, a Nespresso machine and it's well equipped for dining at home. Next door to the kitchen is a study with vibrant wall paper. Perfect if you need somewhere quiet to work during your stay.
On this lower level there's a double bedroom, a bathroom with a shower over the bath and laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
Walk up the elegant staircase, where you can have a Scarlet O'Hara moment to the upper floor. Here you'll find the master bedroom, which is the same size as the sitting room below. It has beautiful views, a desk and a large ensuite bathroom with a bath and separate shower. There are two further double bedrooms and a shared bathroom with a shower over a bath on this level.
Guests will be amazed by this home and have a brilliant time staying here.

Central New Town
The Central New Town spans from Scotland Street in the East to Randolph Crescent in the West and from Princes Street in the South to Brandon Terrace in the North. It encompasses most of Edinburgh’s beautiful and enviable Georgian New Town.
In 1766 James Craig, aged 27, entered a competition to design a New Town to ease overcrowding in the Old Town. There were six entries and he won. His plan was for St Andrew Square and Charlotte Square, Princes Street, George Street and Queen Street and was presented to King George III in 1767. Edinburgh’s New Town is now world famous and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1995. The Georgian New Town is known for its graceful sweeping crescents, wide streets and private central gardens. The beautiful stone buildings have large astragal windows that we love to peep in on a winters evening to see what lies inside. The architectural details and high ceilings in Edinburgh’s New Town put Bath to shame. The architectural highlights are Charlotte Square, Moray Place and Heriot Row.
