Homes don't get much more charming than Circus Gardens. Decorated and furnished with such care and attention to detail as the Edinburgh home of the owners. You will feel very cared about in this beautiful two bedroom, third floor home. There are interesting books and art, William Morris fabrics and much to feel comforted by everywhere you look.
The sitting room has a unique and brilliant cupola which floods the room with light and from here there are delightful rooftop views. There's lots of comfy seating and chairs in which to spend time with a good book. This is a delightful space to relax and spend time in. Off the sitting room you'll find the second double bedroom, which is small yet cosy and perfectly formed.
The kitchen is another wonderful room with a dining table to seat four and a comfy chair by the window. It's well equipped for dining at home and making the most of the excellent local independent food shops and the nearby Stockbridge Sunday market. The main double bedroom is large and tranquil. You'll sleep well here. The duvets and some pillows are wool, which aids a lovely sleep. The bathroom is a space for relaxing with an original roll top bath with a shower over it and there's a separate guest loo.
We absolutely love this home and know that lucky guests who stay here will too.

Circus Gardens is a fantastic location, sitting in the middle of the elegant Georgian New Town with much loved Stockbridge just a stone's throw away. A minute's walk away you'll find great cafes and lovely shops like Toast and Farrow and Ball as well as pretty Circus Lane and lovely St Stephen Street. The Stockbridge Sunday Market is a couple of minutes walk away too. It's the perfect spot for a wander and shop and a walk along Water of Leith walkway. You can walk to George Street in less then 10 minutes, so all you'll need is within reach of this delightful home. Buses are available locally.

Central New Town
The Central New Town spans from Scotland Street in the East to Randolph Crescent in the West and from Princes Street in the South to Brandon Terrace in the North. It encompasses most of Edinburgh’s beautiful and enviable Georgian New Town.
In 1766 James Craig, aged 27, entered a competition to design a New Town to ease overcrowding in the Old Town. There were six entries and he won. His plan was for St Andrew Square and Charlotte Square, Princes Street, George Street and Queen Street and was presented to King George III in 1767. Edinburgh’s New Town is now world famous and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1995. The Georgian New Town is known for its graceful sweeping crescents, wide streets and private central gardens. The beautiful stone buildings have large astragal windows that we love to peep in on a winters evening to see what lies inside.
