Louise Dickins, Managing Director

0131 558 1277

Louise has worked in property in Edinburgh since 1995. After university, she moved to Hong Kong where she qualified as a chartered surveyor whilst working for Vigers, after which she set up and ran a successful art business, Dickins & Rigg. Property has been a passion from a young age: she remembers flicking through property section of Country Life aged ten, deciding that this was what she wanted to do. Louise worked alongside her mother, Marianne, in their long term letting company, Dickins Property Management until they sold it in 2006. Louise set up a festival-letting business in 1997, and in 2006 she expanded that business to become Dickins Edinburgh, offering short lets in special and unique Edinburgh homes all year round. Her favourite things about Edinburgh are: the summer festivals; the view of the city from Calton Hill; the small town feel of the city; supper at Saigon Saigon; and a treat from Mary’s Milk Bar in the Grassmarket. The things she loves about her job are: getting to see lots of fabulous properties; meeting a wide cross section of people; being involved in the festival; getting out and about with the camera; showcasing Edinburgh to the world; and heading up a happy team of wonderful girls.

Louise will be delighted to hear from you about anything connected to Dickins.

Nicky Stott, Business Development Manager

0131 558 1642

Nicky has worked for Dickins since 2007. Prior to that she’d worked at the Witchery, a PR/press picture agency, and in advertising. She has travelled widely, and lived in Australia, the US and Spain. Nicky is the Spreadsheet Queen and our go-to girl for anything technical. Her favourite things about Edinburgh are: its diversity, and the fact that it punches above its weight for a small city; it offers some of the best restaurants in the UK; the fabulous festivals which take place all year round; and its incredible architecture. Nicky moved to Joppa, Edinburgh’s seaside, 20 years ago and the ever changing scenery never failed to amaze her. Nicky will forever call Edinburgh home. The things she loves about her job are: seeing so many beautiful flats and getting to photograph them; building long term relationships with our owners; creating a new multipage; multi coloured spreadsheet; and working as part of a fun and fabulous team.

Please get in touch with Nicky if you own a flat and are interested in Dickins managing it for you.

Michelle Mason, Guest Relations Manager

0131 558 1317

Michelle joined Dickins in 2014. Previously she has worked in TV, including writing and presenting the news for Edinburgh L!ve TV. She has reported for Reuters, and has specialised in sales for companies such as The Scotsman. She has also worked at Archerfield and learned what first-class service is all about there. Michelle makes sure that things run smoothly for our guests and is Queen of Changeovers. Her favourite things about Edinburgh are: the sheer beauty of the city; its intimate scale, and the fact that you don’t need to travel to do the things you enjoy; and tea at the Waldorf Astoria. The things she loves about her job are: working with the gorgeous properties (since working at Dickins, Michelle has realised that she always wanted to work in property;) getting to meet people from all walks of life; and knowing that a guest has really enjoyed their stay. She also loved being involved in the festival and experienced the buzz of it properly for the first time this year.

Please get in touch with Michelle if you are a guest and have any questions during your stay.
