Rock House: Before & After Photo Shoot

BEFOREAFTER

Rock House on Calton Hill is a true hidden gem with a fascinating history in early photography. The house was refurbished and redecorated in 2015/16 and since then we have been letting the house to visitors. But Rock House is not just for staying in, it also lends itself incredibly well to photo shoots or film shoots and is available for private hire for small, exclusive Edinburgh events.

A while ago a Glaswegian fabric and design company, Voyage Decoration, rented Rock House for a photo shoot for their fabulous Tiverton textile collection and we were stunned when we saw the photos! They turned an already gorgeous Rock House into a stunning display of summery patterns, fabrics and textiles – to the point where we almost didn’t recognise the different rooms. This shows what a change of fabrics (and a bit of photoshop) can do to a room and how versatile Rock House can be for a photo shoot.

Since everybody loves before and after photos (right?!) we decided to share some here on the blog, enjoy!
