Join HM the Queen’s 90th Party On Board The Royal Yacht Britannia

For over 40 years, Britannia was home to Her Majesty The Queen and the Royal Family and was an ambassador for Great Britain and the Commonwealth sailing over a million miles around the world. HM The Queen described the Royal Yacht as “the one place I can truly relax”.

Having played such an important role in The Queen’s life, Britannia is delighted to be celebrating Her Majesty’s 90th birthday year in style. Events are taking place on the weekend of the 11th and 12th of June, when her official birthday will be celebrated across the UK. The programme includes:

Complimentary Commemorative Birthday Cupcakes and Britannia Fizz

Complimentary birthday cake and Britannia’s own label pink fizz will be served to all visitors on The Queen’s 90th official birthday weekend. 5,000 individual vanilla and butter cream bite-sized cakes are being made especially for the occasion by Edinburgh-based ‘Lizzie’s Tea Party’, and topped with a hand-made dark chocolate disc, stamped in gold, from the multi award-winning Aberfeldy-based The Highland Chocolatier.

Musical Programme

There will be a programme of live music from 1–4pm with a jazz trio playing the American Songbook on both days and Britannia’s pianist will also be performing on the original Baby Grand piano once played by Princess Diana and Noel Coward.

FREE to Everyone Who Shares The Queen’s Birthday

Everyone who shares The Queen’s birthday will be given free admission to Britannia on Saturday the 11th and Sunday the 12th of June. You simply need to show proof of your birth date at the admission desk and the party can begin!
