Do you love to eat?

We certainly we do, and with some of the best produce available in the world, Scotland’s natural larder supplies some fantastic local restaurants. From 8th – 18th October, restaurants in the capital will be offering three-course lunches for £15 and three-course dinners for £25. Incredible food at incredible prices – what’s not to love?

The Launch of the Chef’s Table

The Edinburgh Restaurant Festival 2015 Thursday 8th October with a three-course dinner cooked by Edinburgh’s top chefs, including Paul Wedgwood, Craig Hart and Mark Greenaway. The dinner will be followed by a chance to meet the chefs and ask them all the culinary questions you can think of. Tickets are £25 per person and the event will take place at The Hub. What’s on the rest of the week?

The dedicated Grassmarket foodie day will be held on Saturday 10th October. With food stalls, music, free samples and more, it’s sure to be a lovely day out for all the family.

On Thursday 15th October at 7pm, Creative Cookware invite you to celebrate their 5th birthday. For all those cheese lovers out there, you’ll be delighted to discover that they’ve paired up with Stockbridge’s I.J Mellis Cheesemongers to host a cheese tasting evening. Tickets cost £12.50 and include a £5 credit and 10% discount on the night. Cheese, wine, and discounts…certainly a delightful, if somewhat dangerous, combination!

Next up, it’s the first ever Edinburgh Street Feastival. This will take place from Friday 16th–Sunday 18th October in St Andrew Square Gardens. Street food will be served alongside music from local DJs. If you managed to come to Farm to Fork in July, you’ll remember what a fantastic experience it was – we hope that this Autumnal equivalent will bring some post-Summer cheer into our lives!

Finally, we must mention the innovation Eat Walk Edinburgh. These food walking tours will not only introduce you to some of Edinburgh’s foodie gems but teach you about the city of Edinburgh and its history. 8th – 17th October 2015 (except 11th). The tour costs £69 per person and leaves every day (except Sunday) at 12 noon and 6 pm. Book tickets here
