The glasshouses are where we Edinburgh folk used to go for a treat before the days of central heating! Not for the blood shy! This proper old style butcher has superb quality meat and game and you’re likely to hear some of the funniest chat you are to witness this year whilst waiting in the queue next to a dead pheasant or twenty. Good range of taxidermy too!
