Stockbridge is home to some of Edinburgh's finest local food shops as well as a brilliant range of cafes, restaurants and boutiques. Inverleith Park and the Royal Botanic Gardens are a short walk away as is the lovely Water of Leith. Princes Street is only a 15 minute walk away and buses are available locally. This contemporary studio is a large, light-filled, open plan space yet the sleeping area feels separate from the living area. There are lots of skylights and a small balcony giving it a wonderful sense of light and space. The studio is decorated in white, has clean lines and it is well furnished in a modern, contemporary style. There are polished wooden floorboards throughout. The double bed is separated from the rest of the space by a wardrobe. The sitting area has a sofa and two comfortable chairs and a TV, SKY and a DVD player. The modern shower room is tiled with mosaics and has a wet room style shower. The well designed chic kitchen has a built in coffee machine as well as the usual appliances. There's a dining table seating 4 comfortably too. The apartment also has wireless broadband. A chic little Stockbridge haven.

The Botanic Gardens have one of most impressive collections of trees and plants in the world and is a gorgeous place to get lost in an while away a few hours. The glasshouses are where we Edinburgh folk used to go for a treat before the days of central heating! Not for the blood shy! This proper old style butcher has superb quality meat and game and you’re likely to hear some of the funniest chat you are to witness this year whilst waiting in the queue next to a dead pheasant or twenty. Good range of taxidermy too!
