"I was just sitting here giving your information to a friend who plans to visit Edinburgh when I reflected back on what a wonderful experience the Browns Place flat was. I loved Edinburgh and certainly hope to return soon. Thank you for everything."

Drinking Bennet's Bar Traditional pub next to the King's Theatre with not a piece of laminate in sight, thank heavens. Always packed with actors after the show comes down at The King's, so good for a bit of star spotting. Drinking The Cameo Bar The bar of the lovely Cameo Cinema is a relaxed place to have a drink, even if you aren't tempted by the movies, but they have a great arthouse selection, so you probably will be. Eating Falko Yum yum, you will find it impossible to resist a slice of cake in this award winning German bakery. It is truly stylish and truly sinful! They have some sit in tables too. Located at 185 Bruntsfield Place. Eating Thai Lemongrass 40 Bruntsfield Place, Bruntsfield, Edinburgh 0131 229 2225 This attractive restaurant is extremely popular so try and book. Interesting menu with delicious food and lovely, attentive service. Places of Interest The Meadows The Meadows is a large park in Edinburgh which is lined with trees and covered in well-kept green lawn. It is split into several parts, but is chiefly divided into two halves by a road. On the upper half is an open golf course, free to anyone who happens to own their own set of clubs, and on the lower half you'll often find people kicking around a football, playing tennis on the outdoor tennis courts or playing croquet. There is also a playground for kids and it's a great place for walking, cycling, rollerblading and scootering as there are footpaths everywhere.
