What The Dickins: A Tale Of Edinburgh City

7 Great Tips for Next Edinburgh Festival

Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2017

The Edinburgh Festival has come to an end and the city is slowly returning to normality. It’s been another fantabulous Festival (even though we’ve seen a fair bit of rain) and we can’t help to feel a wee bit blue saying bye to our guests!

We’ve asked our social media followers to share their best Festival tips with us and thought it would be a good idea to publish them on the blog as well – because it’s never too early to start planning for the next Festival! We’ve got six tips from Twitter and one from Facebook. You’re very welcome to share your own tips in the comments below as well.

Get down to the BBC at 11am daily to pick up tickets for fab shows (30mins before each show too!)

Go to the @UdderbellyFest area and grab a drink as you sometimes get given free tickets to get a good atmosphere at a show.

@Rachelclair77

Always have tissues and hand gel with you, plus a raincoat and it will be a smooth #edfringe2016 #edfest.

@JS0600

@0LoyLakes

If there’s one show well experience that you would SO regret not doing, let me tell you it’s the Guru Dudu’s Silent Disco Walking Tours! 50 mins of sheer pleasure, walking, groovin & movin with likeminded nutters to the sound of this guys enthusiastic hour through Edinburgh. Released the laughter meridians in bucket loads. Put a spring in our step & brightened our day. Unmissable fun for anyone aged 5-91.
